Common errors include "Unable to Install App," "App Not Compatible," or "Verification Failed." Here's how to troubleshoot.
1. Confirm Device Compatability
Our app requires iOS 15 or later for full features, but it may work on iOS 14 with limitations. ???????
Check your version. Go to Settings > General > About > Software Version.
If below 15, update as above if your device supports it (e.g., iPhone 6s and later support iOS 15+).
2. Clear App Store Cache and Data
Sign out of the App Store. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases > Sign Out.
Restart your device, then sign back in. This refreshes the store's temporary files.
3. Check for Restrictions or Parental Controls
Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions.
If enabled, tap it and enter the passcode—ensure iTunes & App Store Purchases allows installing apps.
For Family Sharing, check with the organizer if restrictions are set.
4. Test with a Different Network
Firewalls on public Wi-Fi can interfere. Switch to cellular data or a home network. If using VPN, disable it temporarily (Settings > VPN).
5. Reset All Settings (As a Last Resort)
This won't delete data but resets preferences. Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset All Settings. You'll need to re-enter Wi-Fi passwords afterward.
If the error says "not available in your region"...
Ensure your Apple ID country matches a supported region. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Media & Purchases > View Account > Country/Region.
